Product Overview

The steel drum rolling machine (also known as a Plate rolling machine or cylinder forming machine) is a critical piece of upstream equipment in a steel drum production line. It processes pre-cut and edge-ground drum body sheets into cylindrical forms using a continuous three-point rolling method, thereby preparing them for the subsequent longitudinal seam welding process. The quality of the rolling operation directly affects the roundness of the drum body and the quality of the weld, making it an indispensable step in steel drum manufacturing.

The machine operates on the following principle: the sheet is placed between the upper and lower rollers. As the drive roller rotates, friction 

propels the sheet forward; simultaneously, the offset positioning of the upper and lower rollers forces the steel sheet to bend uniformly as it passes through the three-roller assembly, ultimately forming a cylinder of the desired diameter.
